Ended up placing 6" Risers and 30" Drag Bars on my 05' Super Glide Custom. I also went to Mid Controls.
The ride is better insofar as the leaning forward and being all streched out on the forward controls. It did take some getting used to with all of the changes at once. Once I got off the bike after riding it for the first time and got back on it I was fine and knew where everything was.
I may go with some wider bars later and run the wires internally but I'm going to run these for a while to see.
I had to change the clutch cable, throttle cable & since I was a dummy and didn't plan for the bracket on the risers, I lost my Speedo.
Here's what it used to look like:
I'll take some better pics and post soon.

Reason: forgot some info
I know these aren't mini-apes but never hurts to give you options to see what you like. This was my old 2009 Super Glide that I put drag bars on.
what speedo is this. I hate my black stock speedo on my 06 FXDI that stick up and out over the handle bars. I like the chromed look and how this one is basically reversed from the original.

Looks like a XL 1200 Sportster odometer set-up to me...
Thinking about changing my 2007 FXDC stock bars to the stock FXDB "mini apes". Anyone know what additional cables, lines, wires that I need to purchase?
I put 10" mini apes on my 2012 FXDC without changing anything. I did reroute the clutch cable from cross right to left under the frame to crossing over in the front of the frame.
