Hi,
Here's a couple of pics of my Wide Glide with 41/2" pullback FXSTC risers and FXSTC '82 buckhorns.
They are real comfy but I do miss the width of the stock apes!
I originally fitted the risers with my apes to pull the bars closer to me (short arms an' all!) and it was then when I had to extend the brake hose! but all wires cables were no problem.
So if you are just fitting the buckhorns, and have a Wide Glide with stock length stuff........I don't see as you have to alter anything.
They fitted in about 45 mins with the help of a buddy holding various bits and pieces up in the air while I fiddled the bars off and on etc. Alternatively, suspend the various bits on wire etc. from your garage roof!! (yes it does work)
