A few days ago, I posted asking for an education on programable tuners.
I received some pretty good advice and felt the PCIII was the way to go.
So with that I called a couple of dealers in the St.Louis area for pricing and
getting some mods done. I had one dealer tell me they quit selling the PCIII
because it leaked water. While laughing, I replied "you mean it's not waterproof".
No I'm told it leakes water.
Does anyone in the St.Louis area know of a small bike shop that knows what
their doing. I really want to break the dealer habit and try and keep the water
in my electronic devices.

[sm=dontgetit.gif], but then I do have the SERT. [8D][8D][8D]
Mike C,
I'm assuming that you either went to Gateway to the West, Ted's, Bob Schultz, or perhaps Surdyke in Festus. I have never looked into the PCIII but I would sure love to have a SERT some day. I have a friend that lives in Soulard and on occasion he stops in Widman Motorcycles somewhere close to that area. They used to own the HD dealership but sold out to Gateway to the West. They now have Victory, Suzuki, etc... You may give it a try.. and see what they have.
jdog
The dealer is correct. It is a pain in the *** to have to add water, but that is in the fun of doing your own maintenance. I usually top off my blinker fluid and re-torque my muffler bearings while Iâm at it. You might want to look into the maintenance free PCIII. It is sealed, and will not leak, and you will never need to add water.
