Does anyone know anything about wheels that are finished in the style of "Contrast Cut," i wanna know if the machined aluminum will begin to dull and become ugly after a while. thanks

Yes it will. All aluminum oxidizes over time. Has something to do with oxygen and the aluminum.

If you don't take care of it, it will get that dull look to it. I personally don't know anybody with a set of "contrast cut" rims, but I can guess they would be a pain in the @ss to keep polished!

You can always have them clear coat lacquered.

Check out my gallery here,i have black wheels with contrast cut i think

ya i think the high end wheels are clear coated to help this problem.
