Default Maybe a dumb ?...

I never ran synthetic oil in my other bike...how many miles before the synthetic needs to be changed?
Thanks.

Depends. In my Hendersons I don't go further than 2k. In my AIH 3k or 1 year if I don't ride it that many. HD service intervals are 2500, so I will change out then.

Synthetic is good for much longer, but I'd rather have the extra pOM (peace of mind).

I think it also depends on how often you ride the bike and does it get completly warmed up, the short hops are killers on the oil. It needs to get completely up to operating temperature to burn off the water and other deposits that settle in the crankcase. It is about the same as your vehicle oils. I ususally try to change around 3k and make sure that you do the filter at the same time, don't want to leave any more oil in then necessary.
