yeah everyone i know has huge ape's, from 16 inch all the way up to 20+ inches. and i got tired of blending in with the crowd, so i opted for z bars but i also knew how much i hate straight drag bars (not comfortable at all). i figured these 10 inch would be a nice middle ground. i tried to find some fatty 10 inch but had no luck.

Didn't mean to git you stirred up man. My fault. Everybody has theirown personal preferance
I just though if you liked a set of 10"that if one of us that kept our mini apes we took off we could of send you a pair. Know they are not as nice as the Z bars oh.
Have to agree the shape of the z bars look pretty cool now that I see them on yer scoot..

glider, card, rem,... hey, guys, thanks alot...all of yr bars look awesome! I am just really nervous about the cable change out. I have read guys talking about little clamps and **** getting away from them, need special tools, etc, etc...freaks me out. ( chime in anytime here mudpuddle, buddy!).I think I want sweepers from khrome werks, but not sure.
I don't want to make guys mad trying to ask about what they have. I just have a poor way of wording myslef when I talk. The old lady is on my butt about it all the time. She say's you sure do have a poor way of communicating. I said Yea, you just need to filll in the words I leave out or read my mind and keep up with me.
But to each their own on what they like. Sometimes when I want to help I guess I ain't helping. I'm just curious oh .
Guys I didn't have any help or time. I took mine to the indy shop, they charged the heck out of me. I ain't gonna lie. They had problems with the fittings on some of the cables. the wires were long and had to roll them up and put them in the frame, they had the gas tank off to do some of the cables. They pretty much had to but their but*,
It cost a lot more than I though but the Barnett braided cables which are suppost to be real good was expensive also.
The bike reacts much faster than it did before.
I've only got to ride it for 2 days trying to get reused to it. It feels good to have my hand back up in the air.
You have to grind a bit of spare metal off the bottoms of the risers to make them fit. I needed the Deuce brake line and my throttle cables are very slightly too long (but I can get away with it), electrical cables are fine and the clutch cable just needed to be routed to go down between the risers.
The bars are at a great height but are ever so slightly too close I think, so if I see some straight risers the same height I might go for those.
Sure thing, Flanders wide flat track bar, pre dimpled for Harley in black.I had to buy a set of Torx bits and swap em out in other words they bolt right up.I did eventually bend over the copper tubing for the brake line so it runs along the bar but that's it. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u...shields002.jpg
