Default Tach install help...

Hey guys... I got a great deal on a tach from another forum member and just need some help installing it. It's an Autometer ProCycle 8000RPM tach #19304. I can read the instructions just like anyone else, but I want to hear from someone who has actually installed one. I have a tach cup on the way, so I don't need any help mounting it to my t-bars, but just need info on how to hook it up to my bike. It has 2 green wires, 1 red wire, and 1 black wire. The instructions say the red wire goes to the battery +, the green wires to the coil negative, and the black to the engine or chasis ground. Whats the best way to hook it up and how? Any and all help/advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.
