Default Anyone running struts?

I have a idea floating about in my head from a bike I saw years ago as a kid. Was a sportster with struts & springer seat.. that idea still floats around me head oh so many years later. (yes im getting old lol)

I'd let her float on through, myself. But ther've been a few who've tried it and posted their results in the forums. Search for "struts" and you'll probably find some info on it.

I have some, they are not too bad. Thy look awesome but it rides like a wagon.

You'd think if you were getting older you develop more common sense and respect for your body than to want to run struts or hard tails.
With today's frame and shock options I cant see why any one would put themselves through that kind of punishment, unless you just like pain.

Cool need to be redefined.... cool is the ability to be with/secure very attractive members of the opposite sex(let's face it, no one cool has a fat chick/tool dude in their arsenal)...so... unless struts do such a thing, they are simply a way to ruin the comfort of having shocks. Note: hot women are more high maintenance than the ugly ones...they like suspension.
