Quick rear wheel align
When adjusting the rear wheel alignment, take a metal coat hanger and cut it 1 ft long. put a 90* bend in one end 1 1/2" long. Now get a small o-ring, or rubber band from braces, to fit over the long portion of the hanger. Adjust the adjustment stud till the belt tension is right and put the small end of the hanger in the small hole in the swingarm just forward of the axle and move the o-ring till it is centered on the axle, now go to the other side and put the hanger in the hole on that side and adjust till the axle is centered with the o-ring and tighten everything up. the poor mans way to align the rear wheel and it is accurate--cheers Jack

I do the same thing with a brass welding rod. They are a little stiffer, and don't bend quite as easy as the coat hanger.
You should see the one I had to make to do the alignment on my friend's EG with a sidecar.
