Thumbs up Shocks

OK Guy's can I put 09 12 in lowrider shocks on a 07 FXDC my 07 is 12.6 and the 09,s are 12 so I would like to lower it a lil but dont no if they will fit they are new and for only 59.50 the guy never used them took them off when new ? As usual Thank you for your input !JT

They should fit as far as i know. And for only 60 bucks even if they don't you can sell them for more than that.

The only thing I would make sure of is.. I believe... starting in 08, the top shock mount is a stud and not a bolt. I'm not sure if they are the same diameter.

as far as length.... 12" is great on the fxdc... i have 12" Progressive 412HDs on mine.

Do I need to have a jack to change shocks ? Can it be done on the side stand ? Thank's Guy's

they should fit no problem.....a lift is nice but if you don't have one get a buddy who can lift a bit or push down a bit on the fender for you.....just in case.

I suggest you use a jack under the frame to lift it a little, so the shocks are full length before you remove them.
