Hi all, Got my first Harley a few weeks ago . 2005 FXDWGI http://photos.thedieselstop.com/show...t=1&thecat=500 .I am 56 years old and have owned motorcyles since I was 16 (hondas,yamahas,etc).Got 700 miles on her so far. Put Screaming Eagle II's on her when I got it . Had synthetic oil put in and saddle bags put on at 500 mile service. Man this is a sweet ride. This seems like a great forum. Will definately be watching it for future addons for my bike. Later,Donnie

Welcome.
I just got my new 05 FXDWGI last Saturday, my first bike and I am 55. This bike is much easier to ride than the 125 cc Jap bike I used during my Rider Saftey course.
Ride safe & enjoy that Harley.

That's a nice bike, they handle real good, I had a 97 and I'm sorry I got rid of it.

Good looking bike! Welcome to the site, nothing but good people here and great info. I got my Wide Glide May 7th but it sat till I got back from C-5 school last week. I only have 270 miles on it due to the fact I have way too many things going on at once! lol! I have the SE II's and love them along with the Stage 1 kit. Glad to see several WG owners replying to ya!
