I hear you Chad! I went from the 255's to the 260's and my curves went all the way to the right! I'm mean the bike doesn't run all that bad since the rpms climb so fast. And I get a lot of guys calling BS on my build, especially with it being a SE build with the stock throttle body/injectors and these pipes. I just had a member say it was impossible to get over a 100hp with the stock injectors cause he read it on Hemrick performances web site. I sent him a copy of my sheet and didn't get a response back. But here's my last sheet, as you can see I think the 255's were actually a lot better performing than the 260's, but I got them for a $100 so I figured I'd try them. Now it's on to the Tman 625's! https://www.hdforums.com/forum/membe...e76861-img.jpg
LOL! Shows ya how far reading & no hands on experience goes! Sure he prolly figured it was a reliable source, but still rediculous! Dude...those 625's are gonna such an improvement over the 260's & you're gonna get hard hittin torque back aswell, killer!
Also agree with the fatcat opposed to the Borazilla for your build!
It's like waiting for Christmas morning, lol! The total cost of my build as it sits right now, I'm guessing around $1800 and thats with selling my take offs. I got 20% off all my parts and my tune was free since they had a advance performance seminar at my dealer and they used my bike as the show piece for the dyno. And I'm guessing it's gonna cost another $1500-$2000 for the fatcat, hpi throttle body,625's, tune & labor. I will give props out to my builder at the dealer though, he is the AHDRA national hot street champion '06, '08, '09 and is currently in first place for this year. This guy knows his stuff, but they just don't use aftermarket parts and thats why I started to look elsewhere. And yeah, I'll probably go with the fatcat since I think the boarzilla might be overkill. I'll keep everyone posted as soon as I hear back from JD's cycleworks. Like I said hopefully it will be in soon, cause I'm pretty impatient!
Just a update to all those waiting to see how this turns out. I got the call today from Dave and the parts are all ordered, hpi 55mm t/b w/5.3's, tman 625 cams, and I left it up to him to choose the best pipe for this build. It's all scheduled for may 8th. With these reworked 110"+ heads, t/b, cams, pipe and Daves tuning ability, this should be a totally different bike! Now all I have to do is count down the days, lol. And yes, dyno sheet will be posted.
Well here's another update, I dropped the bike off this morning! Dave said it should be ready by the end of the week. It was a crazy ride down to his shop, 45 mph wind gusts the whole way there and to top it off, I make it 2 blocks from the shop and get hit with a rolling hub cap! I was heading north and the car was going south and I actually seen it come off as the car approached me! 2 seconds later it smashed right into my left peg/boot and disintegrated into a million pieces. I'm okay and there was no damage that I could see, but thank god it didn't turn out worse. I was going about 35mph when it happened. With all the wind making it feel like I was riding on ice and then the hub cap ordeal, I'm just glad to be home!

Yeah there's alot of bikes there! I stopped down friday since I was off of work to make sure I could still drop it off today. Were still waiting on the cams to come in, suppose to be here monday or tuesday. I'm surprised on the amount of work he's pulling in for being a small shop, but I guess when you do good work, work finds you! I've seen a few HDF members bikes their so far, sedeluxe & whitegoldsg, both have some awesome looking bikes! He said it should be finished sometime this week, so if your in the neighborhood stop in and send me a update, lol!
I also have BR 2-2... If I go to a 2-1, how much additional horsepower are we talking?
I'm not sure, but I was told it will be noticeable! He decided to go with a boarzilla w/quite baffle for mine. I wasn't to sure about going with this pipe since I only ever heard it going on big inch motors, but I left it up to him and he said he has seen some really awesome #'s coming out of 103"s with it. Dave is probably the best builder/tuner around so I went with his recommendation.

Ok cool.Mines should be done sometime this coming week also.Yeah I seen George's(SEDELUXE) bike there also. It's always there getting some upgrades. How much more do you need when you have 150lbs of tq???I see your going with the Boarzilla. You will not be disappointed. It's a great performer, but it's one loud *****.Don't think that just cause you got the wrapped baffle that it's not loud!!!The **** is loud!!! it's a healthy loud though.I'm running one on my 124 with the standard baffle!!!
