Well since I got my heads ported and the 260 cams installed over the winter, I figured I would be done with this bike, wrong! I am happy with the way it performs, but keep thinking is there a better set-up? Well after talking to Dave at JD's cycleworks, it seems like I am going to change it again! It started out with swapping out my 260 cams for some Tman 625's, then Dave recommended putting in some bigger injectors since I'm really pushing my stock ones to the limit, I'm at 112/hp now. Well then I say I might as well go all out and get a HPI throttle body. Then the whole 2-1 pipe discussion came up! Of course everyone knows the benefits of a 2-1, it's just getting past the looks. Well I'm going for all out performance, so I decided to go with either the fatcat or boarzilla. With Dave working his tuning magic on the dyno, he's guessing I'll be up in the mid 120's hp/tq! Hopefully this will be done by the end of April, and I will post up my results as soon as it's finished.
Whats the engine config? Bore x stroke? Sounds like fun!
I don't have all the specs on the headwork, but its a se 103" build w/110+ heads (ported) 10.5 forged pistons, 260 cams, heavy breather, stock throttle body/injectors, sert, big radius pipes. I'm sitting at 112hp/111tq right now and even my builder was amazed with what it's putting out. When I did my heads I came across a good deal on the 260's so I figured I would try them out. The motor revs fast and the throttle response is great, but I'm at the point now of trying to get the most I possibly can from this build. I'm told the Tman 625's will be 10x better than the 260's. redrubicon, hows that 107" coming along?

They are pretty high numbers for a 103" Typically they just dont make much power...or they were just built wrong.
I am still gathering parts for the 107". Had a delay when the dealer I ordered the axtell kit from. They sent it with "house of power" engraved on the jugs Got that straight, and got the jugs to the machine shop for the case boring..waiting on them right now.
