Well,

Veniculum.......nice looking bike, the picture in the post and the pictures in the profile seem to have two different sissy bars on, or the back pads are just different. I like the looks of the small one in the post. Is that the same base with different pads or whole different brackets and backs that you switched.....what is the brand and whatever of the ones in the post. Thanks..............

Thanks for the complements guys...to answer this question...the second pic I posted is an older one. Originally, I got the detachable uprights with a medium-low sissy bar and pillow style passenger pad. Combined with a "pillow-look" seat for 06 dynas, it was the perfect setup for 2-up riding. With that setup, wifey was very happy, but I wasn't as happy as I could've been. I had always liked the look of the mini-sissy bars...and the pillow look seat I bought wasn't the best looking seat for that bike either. It didn't look out of place...just wasn't what I was going for. So a few months later (and lots of chrome), I decided to get a Sidekick custom seat from HD. That seat had much more of the look I was trying to achieve. And it was more comfortable to boot (more expensive too). Once I had put that seat on, my intention was to remove the sissy bar altogether. But after seeing it, I decided that I just really like a sissy bar on a wide glide. Just my preference. So I saw the perfect opportunity to get the mini sissy bar and pad (along with a nice emblem for the back).

In the end, I've got the best of both worlds now. In only a couple minutes, I can switch my bike from a nice looking custom to a more touring oriented/two-up cruiser. I primarily ride with the sidekick/mini setup...but do switch it up when I'm planning on taking someone for a ride.

So, sorry for the long-winded explanation..but since I do post pictures of both setups on this board, I do get this question from time to time. For a relatively small investment, I've given myself two really nice, completely different setups.

Thanks again...if you'd like to see more pictures (with both setups) check out my profile album.

Hey Todd,
With all the upgrades you've added, I can't believe I don't see a lower chrome belt guard yet. Or is this an old pic? I think it's only $40-$50 from HD. Your bike is lookin' good. Did you pull your rear turn signals in?

OOOPS! I checked your photo album. You do have the chrome lower! So let me rephrase, I can't believe you don't have the chrome swing arm yet. Keep up the good work.

Thanks dave...yeah..you have to look close...I have a lot of different pics posted...the bike evolves slowly. Just wait...in another week or two, you'll see a chrome deuce wheel with a wide tire kit and chrome sprocket cover. It was that or the chrome swingarm. The wheel/wide-tire/sprocket cost about a grand more than the swingarm, so you know me. Why save money when you can spend it

Rear turn signals are stock as far as I know...but to tell you the truth, when I purchased the bike back in Oct 05, I had them install the detachable sideplates...I seem to remember someone saying that they would have to re-locate the signals. Since then, I've heard that's only the case on the other dynas...not the wide glides. So to answer your question...I can't really answer your question.

So anyway...here's my latest list of upgrades....pretty soon, it won't fit in one post
