Talking dyna-sore

just put on a pair of 10 inch rigid struts and a 2 inch tank lift. i'm digging the looks and the rides not unbearable... i'm just glad that it only takes a couple min to switch back and forth from the original suspension to these. cheap alterations that make a large visual impact.

You can certainly do whatever it is that you want to your bike but, I don't get it. Why would you ever want to do something to your bike that would make you classify the ride as "not unbearable"?

I think it's called form over function! Got to agree, I can't really see the point of a mod that dictates you can't undertake long rides without reverting to the original set up. Each to their own though - live and let live and all that, we're all different so who are we to citicise?

Wow. That looks amazing! That made a huge difference man. The tank lift looks perfect with the 10" struts. Good eye man. Now just drop the front with the progressive drop in springs and it will look waaaaaaaay better.

Bike looks good.... one thing for sure, if the struts stay and the front is not lowered, big radius 2-2 will look killer on it. Also that seat is great! What seat is it?

Looks awesome - a straight line from the headlight down to the rear axle. I put struts on my Sporty back in '72. First time I hit a bump while cornering, and the rear end came around, I went back home and put the shocks back on. I have a lot of respect for you guys riding rigids!
