Thumbs up progressive front fork dropin's

Hi Guy's I would like your opinion on some mods I am making I am 5'7 285 and some times but rare my wife of 150 rides with me so I wanted to lower my bike an inch for those gravel lot's we find our selfs in sometimes so I got 12 in 09 low rider shocks to replace my 07 FXDC 12.6 shocks and ordered the progressive drop in springs for the front to drop 1 IN ! I dont want to go lower and have a hard & lousy ride so what should I expect from this a bad ride and handling or what I got the rear shocks for 60.00 new so until I can afford a better set I thought I would go this way so please feel free to let me no what I got myself into and again thank you all in advance !JT

you may find with your weight, a heavier 20wt fork oil will offer a better front end with those springs. Just be sure not to overfill the oil. You should have a decent ride.

I did the drop in lowering kit. I'm very happy. The kit will NOT give you a crappy ride. Quite the opposite.

Got the HD Progressive 11" on the rear and the Progressive*drop in kit* in the front on my 07 street bob..improved the ride no end..course it's harder but not that bad..ride with passenger often..

ok the drop in kit now..if you want to drop the front 1" cut the supplied white pipe to 2"..if you want a 2" drop on the front cut the white pipe 1"..

just telling you cuz theres no help in the instructions ..not that I found anyway.

Regards Sumpnut.
