Default What windshield do I want?

Ok, I don't use one when the weather is nice. But cooler air is coming, and I do ride unless it's less than 30 so I almost have to have one in Winter. But even though I need it for function, I still need it to look bad *** and be quick release. Summer months, I will take off the hardware.. but we all know there are surprise days in Winter when it gets warm.. Thoughts?

I like the quick release full height. 4 clamps and off. I can remove it and the bags in about 2 minutes total.

Try the quick release full-height. No windshield looks great on a WG. The quick release full height is purely functional and can be removed very quickly (like 30 seconds or less). Just don't attach it so quickly that you break one of the brackets. You have to watch out for cables. It's expensive but worth the money. My wife doesn't like to ride 2-up unless I have the windshield on. She claims it makes a difference in the back. It makes a huge difference in the front. I promised to post some pics. of mine some time ago but never got it done. I'll try again. It seems that every time the weather is nice and I take the bike out of the garage to take pictures, I forget the camera. I just get on it and ride .

OK, I finally posted some windshield pics in my photo album.

I have been trying to make the same decision for my Bob. I am down to choosing between the HD compact standard height quick release and a Windvest. Anyone using either that would be willing to comment on fuction and looks?

None. I keep reading about it though. I think it might be my set-up in general just works to prevent buffeting. I don't know why though. I don't have apes. See my photo album for pics.
