Default Looking for a slim A/C

Like others, I'm going bow-legged reaching the brake pedal on my '10 Fat Bob. One fix for this for me would be if my leg didn't have to bend so much around the A/C.

I have a SE A/C backplate and filter with the stock cover at the moment and thats not exactly fat, other A/Cs like the Big Sucker would be thicker, but I need even thinner or at least one that doesn't stick out so far.

Any recommendations?

look at something like the SE Heavy Breather or the Forcewinder.... moves the AC forward and out of the way; might solve your problem

Get a brake pedal for a softail, drill your brake pedal and stick it on. No need for a new a/c. Talk to kk6pg. He is the one who showed me this trick.

Umm, I also find my right foot hanging off the end of the footpeg so I don't think this will help.

I was looking at the Joker Machine A/Cs: http://www.jokermachine.com/itemstre...&Placeholder=0 Anyone any experience?

You were asking for a solution....... you didn't say it had to look good too; now you're just being difficult :-)

Just a thought. have you tried running your ac without the stock cover? I did this and was surprised at how much less obrtrusive it was compared to my stock football cover. I am not the tallest guy in the world and removing the stock cover really increased my comfort factor. For me it wasnt that my ac stuck out too far, it was that it got in the way of where my leg was due to its oblong shape. With the round ac I no longer have any issues.

See pic.

Cheers,

Tom
