Been noticeing occassional black smoke out my pipes. No oil usage. Probably running to rich. 2006 dyna. How to address this?

Check and see if you have the 8 degree injectors. This could be the problem.

Mine does the same thing on occasion after stage 1 and HD download. You really have to be looking for it though. The bike has been running great so I'm not going to worry about it. I'll bring it up at the next service. I'd rather it run a little rich than lean!

After my PCIII and other intake, exhaust upgrades I started getting a little more black smoke. Just tell people it's a diesel. Check the plugs too, they let you know what's going on.

My bike has been running great and I'm not getting bad gas mileage, but I was thinking the injectors. 5000 mile to be done at dealer. Will have them go over it and have copy of injector service bulletine.
