Just a rant!
Well this afternoon I am taking my Wide Glide to get the tank fixed and painted, and the cafe fairing painted. Will probably be without for a week and a half or so. (will post all pics when done dont worry)
Anyway, the last few weeks it has been gorgeous during the week, and storming on the weekends. Getting pretty annoying. Well, i just happened to glance at the weather yesterday, and it truly annoyed the crap out of me. This weekend, Saturday, Sunny, high of 90, Sunday, Mostly Sunny, high of 87. Son of a B!tch!!!!
Well yesterday i get off at 6pm go home, kiss the wife, she gives me the look and tells me she wants to go riding. I inform her that the yard is a foot tall and its supposed to rain for the next few days. So i go mow and do the trimming. Get in, cook dinner, (grilled hot dogs and mac n cheese) then eat. (insert here it was a gorgeous day yesterday) I go to bed annoyed, wishing i would have listened to the wife and went riding when she mentioned it. Weather forecast for today on my 50 mile ride to the body shop, Severe Thunderstorms with 30mph winds. DOH!!!
There are 2 points to this whole rant. 1.) Listen to your woman, she does know whats best. 2.) The weather man can kiss my ***!!!
Yeah i know this probably shouldnt have went into the Dyna forum, but me and the wife both have Dynas, and its a Dyna i am taking to get painted today..So...sorry i wasted your 30 seconds!
Down here in South Florida, Summer is our 'bad' time. Rain just about every day, temperatures at 90 degrees by 11:00AM.
But overall, I guess I shouldn't complain too much. Some areas of the country have two seasons -- Winter and August. We also have two seasons -- Hot and Dam Hot.
No place is perfect. Maybe California's weather is close, but the traffic? No thanks.
