There was another thread about wind. I didn't want to hijack the thread. So here goes.
Sunglasses work well sometimes and sometimes not so well. Especially when you're going at a little speed, most of them allow wind to get under or around them and cause your eyes to water. So I was wondering --
Anybody have experience with aviator-type motorcycle goggles? I've read where some of them will fog up when you're not moving. I live in South Florida which can be rather warm a lot of the time.
So if anybody has a make/model that works in a hot climate for them, please let me know.
Not gonna do the Full Face helmet. For those of you that do? God bless you. But I think that down here, a FF helmet might burn what's left of my hair off. And the steaming up. And the heat. And the -- Whatever. Not gonna happen. At least, not for me.

I tried every pair of sun glasses I had when I bought the bike and one pair was ok. I then bought a pair of HD riding glasses with the foam inserts and they were worse than my best pair of regular sun glasses.
I now have a pair of Wiley X riding glasses and they work great. They come with a strap if you want to wear them more like googles but I cant stand wearing them with the strap on and they work great with out it.
I have the transitional lense but they dont really get dark enough so my next pair I will just get the tinted ones.
I use goggles made by "eliminator"they have small vent holes to keep them from fogging and have a wide strap for comfort. You can get them in all colors and colored lens. They work great at high speed even over 110MPH!If you shop around you can get them for $20.J&P has them for more but but you will have shipping to!
I've tried a few pairs of sunglasses and goggles. Figured the goggles would be the best but never worked well for me. (One of my friends though swears by them).
The best pair of sunglasses for me were a sort of wrap around style which I stupidly left in a diner and were gone when I went back a few minutes later.
Now I ride with KD's. They work the best for me and only cost like $5.99.
I am in constant search for this too but i wear Rx glasses. Found a website for those of us visually impaired also. www.sportrx.com --oh I have a buddy that is a heavy eq. operator and at work or riding only wears goggles. Loves em!
I'm surprised that the HD riding glasses with the foam inserts didn't work for you. I can't use any glasses but the ones with the foam inserts or I'm going to get looks at work when I pull in each morning. (pollen = hell on my eyes - really!)
I have two pairs that I really like, but don't have the big foam inserts and I can't use either. I've been thinking of trying out some goggles for the mad max look lol.

The HD ones just didnt fit my face good. I have a buddy that wears some and he loves his. The Wiley X ones have the foam inserts as well they just fit my head better. Thats why I recommend going and tring some on.
