Default Black Dash
For the guys with the black dashes, how did ya do them? Did you powder coat? Black chrome? Rattle can?

What model are you talking about? My SB came with the wrinkle dash. Changed it out for a chrome version with dash mounted ignition.

Well I have a 2010 WG, but have seen a few WG's with black dashes. Sure wish the WG came with one cuz the chrome blinds me a lot going down the road.

I've only painted a couple of chrome pieces, but it can be done. Scuff the chrome up with very fine (600-1000 grit) emery cloth or a scotch-brite pad. Tack cloth all the dust off. Rattle can a good quality primer, make sure you let it dry good, then rattle can whatever you want - gloss black (might still glare), flat black, HD texture, or HD wrinkle.

HD does sell a black version for the 10 WG, my buddy has a 10 that came with the black dash. Maybe you can find someone who will trade you.

I would be all over that trade!!!! I don't see many WG's around here though and all of them I see have the chrome dash.

yes you are right - there are black and chrome dashcovers on the 2010 wg
# black one --> only on the black with FLAMES
# chrome --> on the red and vivid black

here the part numbers:
# 61732-10 black
# 61712-08 chrome

don't buy that dash. You should have JRK here on forums powdercoat it for you. will probably charge you about one tenth of the cost of a new dash.
