06 to 10 differences?
I recently purchased a set of tins from a 2010 Street Bob to put on my 06 Street Bob.I'm certain the fenders will fit but I've heard there may be some differences in the way the gas tank mounts up.What if anything does anyone know about this? Also any useful information I can get about swapping tins would be appreciated.
Ed i have had both off... and to be honest i can not recall anything different at all, granted i did not swap them over but... from taking them off they seemed the same. I tried to look up the service manual for you to post it, but they have still not updated and i can only pull up manuals up to 09, sorry bud
Excellent thanks for the responses.I'm finally going to have a real paint job.I've got a brand new set of vivid black take offs on the way. What gave me the idea that the tanks may be different is I was looking at a tank lift awhile back and they listed thier product for the 05 - 06 and 07 and later differently.
