I like the looks of the Rb racing lsr pipes... but from what I am understanding is that they build these pipes to your order? So it couldnt take a few months... That is the fact that I am not liking... Anyone have this pipe... I believe the Lsr 2-1 is like a turndown style muffler if I am not mistaken.... They have so many different pipes and bits and pieces of info its kind of confusing... Anyone with any info on these pipes, or comments about them I would like to hear from ya... And also can these be tuned in with a Thundermax tuner???
I had an LSR on my last bike and loved it. It did take 2 months to get it but it was worth the wait. You can order it with a 45* turn out and 02 sensor bungs for your tuner. IMHO they make one great pipe and quality is the best I have seen. The pipes use a billet exhaust gasket that doesn't crush into the port and you can reuse it over and over. I plan on getting another one someday. Oh and the sound is like nothing else.
I bought a set for my '99 XL883 Sportster and I liked them so much I bought two more sets. One for my '07 XL883 and one set for my '07 XL1200L Low. I was going to do some head work on the '99 XL883 but the extra horsepower I got out of the RB Racing 2 into 1 pipe has saved me from spending any more money on upgrades so far. I won't buy any other pipes for my Harley Sportsters. Good luck with your purchase and ride safe out there!
I just installed a lb racing lsr 2-1 blackhole set of pipes on my 06 streetbob, and I've got a bunch of pics and info that might help you make your decsion. I'm friggin loving mine, they look mean, and sound bad to the bone.
they have turn down 45*, turn out, slash cut, in chrome, black ceramic, natural, titanium, etc. there are a bunch of different pics on their site so take the time to look at it over thoroughly.
I run the RB Racing pro stock 2-1 and it is the BEST pipe I have ever owned. If you go on the RB Racing site you will see my bike. Its the first bike on the pro stock page.
I swapped a thunderheader for one. It has a lower much less obnoxious tone. Of course the TH was 10 years old.
I ordered mine in the late Fall because I knew they take time to make. Great pipe hasn't discolored, even though I bought the shields incase they do.
The Th came on around 2700. The RB starts at around 2400. Runs great to the rev-limiter at 7k. Strange thing is the bike starts better when hot. ??
I might suggest the turn out instead of the turn down. The turn down kicks up too much dust and cleaning the rear wheel is not one of my favorite things

I agree, and mine is a slash facing out, I think the turnout actually has a bend to the outside. Here's a pic of mine a week old.
