I am thinking about installing the following on my 07 WG, however the fitment states that it will not fit 03 and later WG bikes but I can't understand why because there are no obstructions and I have all the airfoil pegs on the bike. Does anyone have any input that can be helpful, thanks, TJ.

Check my photo album. I have them and I love them. They certainly do fit 06/07 wide glides. I believe there are two different types. Mine are the slotted billet and I had to buy pegs for them. The others are smooth chrome..not sure, but I think they come with their own pegs (which don't necessarily match your footpegs/shifter/brake pedal)...I could be wrong about that. Either way, here's the ones I have:
