I"m looking for a short/mini backrest/sissy bar for my Fat Bob. I don't see any short ones on the hd website that'll fit my bike, am I missing something?

I have new side plates for a Dyna Glide 1991- 1995 except Dyna wide glide if that helps.Have a couple of new sissy bars of different lenghts also.

Nothing in this area. The ECU is set to run 0.1 richer closed loop in the 09, otherwise the 08-09s are identical, I think.

Oh, many of these bars fit, but they will ride closer to the fender edges. Using a detachable plate and associated backrests will give you more clearance. Sometimes you have to bend the bars a bit for better fit. I modified a solo rack (detachable) to fit the wider fender by bending it.
