Battery issue
A couple of days I went away so I put my cover on my bike, today i got on, put the key and everything turned on but wouldn't start, got a battery charger said there were 13 amps so i started it no problem, drove about a block power cut out, bike dies I pushed it back home and throw the charger on it, it said it had 13 amps so i tried starting and it started, revved the throttle, it coughed and died. Did that a couple of time, threw the charger back on it. The charger says 13 amps, turn the key to the "on" position charger says the battery is dead. This is a new battery only a couple of months old i replaced it cause the keys were left in the bike and the other battery completely died. IT has also been raining here pretty heavy last couple of days, is something wet that's doing this? The bike was running fine before i went away. The battery is still in the bike.

It's been on the charger for about an hour, now when you turn the key to "on" the charger say 13 amps and when you go to start there clunk/click and the amps drop to 0. The bike was fine 2 days ago, all i can of is the rain, it's really hot today. The battery is still in the bike.

What kind of battery is it? believe it or not it does matter. if you check the battery with a volt meter what does it read with no charger on it? If its lower then 12.6 volts the bike wont start, if its lower then 12 volts the battery is junk.
