Hi Everyone

I want to keep the bike at standart height is that possible? Does anybody know the catalog number
thanks to all

My advice is never buy shocks in a box off the shelf. Better still we have our own supplier of Ohlins shocks right here on HDF, in sponsor Motorcycle Metal. Howard will custom build you a set, taking into account your weight etc AND quite possibly offer you a forum discount.
He's busy developing Ohlins fork cartridges for us at present, but I am sure he will welcome a new customer! Give him a call and talk through the various options he offers.
Yes you can keep the bike at standard height. I went with the HD 219 model. It is fully adjustable and has a separate reservoir. They have other models which are integrated.
They are great shocks and take the ride to another level.
As was posted above, I too worked with Howard at motorcyclemetal.com. Give him a shout and mention the forum. He's a good man and you'll learn a lot about suspension.

I was interested in the Ohlins shocks as well as I have one on my ZX12R but on my new WG I'm wondering if they come in black or chrome. Yellow/ gold just isn't gonna look right to me.
Yep, you can get them with black springs. Chrome also.
I hear what you're saying about the yellow springs (and gold canister) and planed to make sure the shocks were perfect then remove them and return for black powder coat and maybe chrome springs. Then two things happened, 1) liked the ride so much didn't want to take them off, and 2) got more comments on the bike with the yellow springs (95% positive) in the first month on than the bike got in the previous ten years combined.
I will reevaluate what to do this winter.

Howard chromed the springs and keepers for me so that's always a possibility.
You have the only set of all chromed Ohlins that I or Ohlins USA (the USA exclusive distributor) have ever seen or built. Can I trade you for a set of yellow springs with yellow shoe laces? Good to see you still visit here.

Reason: cant proof read worth a damned
I took it a step further and went with the #3, about 1/2" longer than stock on my SB. (Howard-that was very good advice!) The extra travel made the bike way more comfy, especially on rough back roads and hitting those expansion joints on the highway. I know it sits higher when I'm not sitting on it, but function wins out on form this time.

Somebody had to do it. Lol Hmmm...let me think about that. Just waiting for the bike to get out of the paint shop...did not do want I wanted - lack of listening skills I guess. Been slow going as I am currently unemployed. When the paint is finished, and to my liking, I will get pictures sent to you with the chromed Ohlins.
