I am at the rock and hard place you here of. I finally have my bike pretty close to the looks I like. but now my seat is giving me fits, I am running the cvo seat and it is a bitch after a 250 miles. so I am thinking of either buying a C&C fastback witch will basicly cost me 300.00 with gel, or getting my cvo seat reworked by MCC that will cost me 100-200 depending on options. what is your guyz thoughts? I am kinda leaning twords the fastback because it get such great reviews but I really cannot decide!!
I have an appointment next Friday with MCC, I am riding to there shop to get my stock seat modded will let you know what i think when i get home, its about 2.5 hour ride there on stock seat then 2.5hr back on modded seat that should be a good test of how well they do.
mean city cylces, they do a number of things, reshape it for comfort, or change the foam all together, add gel, move you up/down, forward/back, they seem to get great reviews. I think I am going to pull the trigger on there seat mod. I might wait for stbobfisher to get his done before I decide. I know the 300 hundred a day I averaged on my trip sure beat me up.....

Love my C&C seat with gel. Built to fit & w/backrest...perfect for the long ride.
I sold the stock seat off of my bike for that same reason, except mine would get to me after about 150 miles. I tried the reach seat (what a POS), the Mustang day tripper (OK, But still no good for long rides) and then I bought a stock solo seat (I think it came from a wide glide) (Perfect seat)
Mean City Cycles knows what they are doing. I sent them a Danny Gray Buttcrack solo to add memory foam and impact gel. Just got it back this morning. They also did an excellent repair on a tear. The seat is now completely different, feels 100% better.
