I have an oppertunity to pick up a wide glide front end for cheap its brand new all apart with chrome triple trees chrome forks and ends. I was told its 4 up and a 6 degree rake. I have an 04 super glide how will it change my bike im not sure what it all means. Can anyone help?

 

That means that the fork tubes are 4 inches longer then factory, and the angle will be 6 degrees more raked out, basically, it will raise your front maybe an inche or two, if that

 

I think the additional rake will make your bike a little more stable at freeway speeds, and slow down your turn in responce abit in the twisties. It'll look pretty cool though. Here's a shot of my WG.

 

I was told that a 6 degree rake is gonna really move my front wheel out. Is this true?

 

Depends on what you mean by "really". You can calculate it but just look at the distance of my WG and compare. Looks like a couple of inches visually.
