Since you went with 2.5" bolts and removed the 1.5", I'd say it's pretty much bullet proof now.
So I won't worry about flying shrapnel riding behind you this weekend...
Well I missed ZigZag the other night when it blew up... But he did see the shrapnel fly though.
I feel pretty confident after today's ride. Will ride to work tomorrow.
BTW, there is no way the bolts I took outy were Grade 5 as the listing Mud posted calls for. $%^& lousy *** Indy's. Back then I wasn't mounting my own tires, I recently remedied that though, and with Dyna beads no need for balancing either.
