Default Sissy bar help

Got me an old school sissy bar from an old school biker ......im gonna mate her to my 09 streetbob.....im just wondering if i can get the width dimensions on standard sissy bars being run on ridgid sideplates.....wondering if i can buy or if i will have to make sissy bar plates.....thanx

If it's an old school sissybar that you got from an old school biker, how about you make it old school fit.

The H-D sissy bar is made from 9/16" sq. stock. It measures 8-7/8" across the outside, 7-3/4" on the inside.

thanks.......the sissy bar is mae of 9/16" square stock but it 8 1/4" outside dimension 7 1/8 " inside dimension.....looks like we r going old school......it will be tailor fit =).... I'll update the garage when the project is done
