Not sure if Vic's search yielded the Screamin' Eagle Pro Racing Parts catalog ... best way I know is to pull it up and see what the P/N is compatible with ....
Go to the US H-D website, http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...ages/home.html then drop down the Experience menu and select Racing ... on the left hand side of the page select Screamin' Eagle Pro Racing Parts and it will take you to the catalog download ... the EFI stuff is on the last page of the Part 1 download (page 28) ....
Okay ... hmmm ... that did not really yield a definitive answer since they seem to change the last couple of digits for the SERT ....
I would go out on a limb and say, "Yes" however, because the new catalog and almost every catalog I've seen seems to indicate that the SERT works with the then current Delphi EFI system as well as all years going back to 2001 ....
I think that is as good or better answer than Vic provided ....
Todd, I wasn't trying to answer the OPs question but merely teach them how useful a tool Google can be. I see many questions that can be answered by using that free tool if the people just took the time to use it. I usually start my googling the part number to see what comes up on the first page or two of the search results. If I can't locate the answer I'm looking for, I alter my search criteria to include other key words.
Google 101 is just one of the many services I offer.
....the part number listed is actually the dongle and not the SERT software itself.
An answer I found using google which lead me to a very informative search of hdforums.
The Dongle is a sort of software "key" to the software. Without it, the software/cd will be useless.
Also, if you are looking on ebay for sert, you should know that if the person is listing it as used, it is of NO USE to anyone but that person. The SERT vin-locks to the bike it is installed on forever and ever.
I scrolled all the way down and read the description:
Fits: '04-later carbureted models. Photo is actual item. Package was opened for better photo. MSRP $339.95(price checked 8/5/10)
This doesn't make sense to me at all. If it's carbed, it's not going to have a delphi injection module. You would merely adjust the jetting on the carb for optimum tuning.
So, I would definitely tread lightly buying something like this on ebay.
