Hey here is a neat trick for any of you that may encounter mice in your garage around your HD. I had some of the little rodents get into my garage and started climbing all over my 10 WG and 07 Softail so I decided to use a trick I had heard about where you put 100% peppermint oil on some cotton ***** and place around your garage. Wallah! No more mice issues. Try it. R/

 

I believe I will try that. This spring my wife's bike would not fire up. I pulled the seat and then the air cleaner (its a 78 honda) and to my surprise the air box was full rat turds and corn kernels. An interesting combo...Thanks for the tip

 

over the winter i always WD 40 the inside of the pipes of the bikes we keep in back and then a thing of mothballs under the bikes as well a charcole to absorb moisture... but i like that idea for the cotton ***** for the bikes in the back garage!
