2004/05 wheel axle is 1".

 

2000-2005 is 3/4 06 on is 1" is what I was told

 

The scoot in my sig is a 2004 FXDX. It has 1" axles. Part # Front, 43758-04.
Part # Rear, 41114-90.

2003 Front axle, part# 43895-00, 3/4"

The 04 part #'s are from my 2004 Dyna, parts book. The parts book and manual does not specify diameter. When I changed my front to a 21" spoke wheel. They sent me a wheel with a 3/4" hub. My axle would not fit. Because the axle was 1".

The link lists axle for FXD but it's the same for the FXDX.

So be careful what year bike the wheels come from. 05 was the last year for the FXDX. Wheels from an 04/05 = 1" axle.
