Default Neutral Light
My neutral light stays lit in its normal position between 1st and 2nd. However, the neutral light blinks on between 2nd and 3rd, 3rd and 4th, 4th and 5th, and 5th and 6th. Sometimes it blinks going up the gears, sometimes coming down the gears, sometimes not at all between these gears.

Any ideas?

Either a bad sensor, or possibly a wiring problem.....This is the first time I have ever heard of this.

mine started to do it this weekend as well... i have not torn into mine to check it yet i am betting it is the sensor... man it is annoying as FK!

Mine doesn't have a neutral light! Lol only has a 6th gear light.

First bike I have ever heard of without a neutral light. Imagine that would be hard to get used to.

only reason it would not have a N light is if you did not wire one up but all HD's (newer models) come with a light

Mine started to flash on and off, could not find the fault, eventually my engine run light came on as well and my Ignition light. started tracing seriously and found a pinched wire under the petrol tank, corrected that and all is well again.
