Default Handlebar clamp screw torque?

Can anyone tell me where in the service manual the torque specs for the handlebars & riser screws are located? I know it must be in there but I can't seem to find it. ('06 Street Bob). Thanks

It's probably covered in the "front end" section of the manual.

Couldn't locate the info in my 2003 Dyna Models Service Manual so I checked some Instruction Sheets for risers. Found this info for you:

If using two (small) top clamps:

"Secure handlebars to risers......by tightening the screws until the front and rear gaps between caps and risers are equal. Tighten the screws to 144-180 in-lbs (16-20 Nm)"

"Secure risers from the bottom thru upper fork bracket up into risers. Tighten to 50-60 ft-lbs (68-81 Nm)

From another IS if there's a large riser top clamp (4 hole type):

"...tighten the the front socket head screws to 12-15 ft-lbs (16-20Nm)". There should be no gap at the fron of the risers. Tighten rear socket head screws to 12-15 ft-lbs (16-20Nm)"

Note the difference between ft and in lbs!!

Risers ~ 30-40 ft-lbs
Riser Cover ~ 50-60 in-lbs

In the '08 book there is a table of torque values in an appendix. Try looking in the back of your manual, might get lucky.
