Maybe it was burnt/blown out?

 

The purpose of this is to be just a little different then other FBs. not something that will be the next mod when i get back from overseas, but just curiosity i guess. I think I would eventually get annoyed by it myself.

 

Its not 'European' models that have a single light on at a time, its 'International' models i.e. everywhere except domestic US. HD only make the two flavours of FB.

Reason is that in one non-US country its illegal for a motorbike to have two lights on at the front. The rest of the world has to suffer because of this. I dunno which country it is, though I have a vague idea its Japan. I do remember that the thinking behind it was that at night it makes a bike look like a car that is a long way away and so someone seeing this might pull out on the bike.

Dunno why an SOA bike would have it though. Maybe just a blown bulb.

In that episode of SOA, the gang travels to Ireland, so the fact that one light is out is 100% accurate.
