just watched episode 8 of SOA. Chibbs was on a FB. the thing only had one headlight turned on. is that something that can easily be done? will the other light come on when highs are flipped on? Curious.
I believe that's how the bikes in Europe are from the factory....and yes, the second light comes on when switched to High beam.
+1
Yes, European versions only light one side. I'm not sure if it's law over there or something that could be changed, but I have read threads from European owners wishing they had the dual lit US version. I suppose people tend to want what they can't have, or perhaps it's just a desire to be different from the next guy or gal on the street.
Used to be law, heard it had been changed but i´m not sure. You could order the European version from Harley, or maybe a exchange across the pond, a lot of EU FB-owners that wants "Real" Dual Headlights.
First reaction is always "one of the bulbs are not working" Haha.
oh alright. i guess i will just have to keep being happy blinding cagers at night
HEHEHEE you just have to tilt the body down a bit once in a while. I used to think there were bugs inside the cars ahead of me at red lights at night. I juist get behind a car and tilt down until my headlights no longer shine directly into the vehicle!

2nd lamp does light up for high beam, but the 1st (low beam) goes out. They are not on at the same time. And yes a lot of us over here in Europe want them both on.
