Already trimmed clamps no need for taking off clamps windshield comes off like intended already covered hose clamps doubt my lady will ever take it off except for cleaning...

 

I realize this is an old thread,but can anyone tell me roughly what year and model of the brackets are in the middle 2 pics that mrnone posted may have come off of?I recently bought an '03 anniversary Sporty from a friend that came with what appears to be a beat up Memphis Shades detatchable windshield.He gave me what he thought was the right new windshield in the box with brackets,someone sold him.It is not.....It seems to have the right opening for the headlight (7-1/2"-8"?),but the brackets that mount it are for a bigger bike(like my Heritage).The headspace was approx 13-1/2",as opposed to the Sporty's approx 9-1/2".I bent the brackets to make it fit,but it ain't pretty.It appears the spacing on mrnones hole pattern in the glass are like mine,and the offset in his brackets to get it to 9-1/2" are just what I need.
