I would like to install a burly ape handle bars during the winter. I'm looking for someone that is close to the philadelphia area that could help me with installing. I'd like to do this myself versus having to shelling out 1200 to the moco. anyone...anyone...bueller...bueller...?
I forgot to mention that I have a 2010 street bob. I know what materials needed, just need someone who could come and provide assistance. let me know your price.
I live in Harrisburg and I am in the process of installing some now. Definitely not an expert since it is my first time. Everything I've done so far has been pretty easy. I wired the bars and just got my riser back from powder coating. My cables should arrive tomorrow. I think the hard part for me is going to be putting the new cables on. When I get done, I will let you know if I feel comfortable helping. It's not that long of a drive.

Thats cool. Its good to see there are people out there to lend a hand when needed.
I have the Burley 18" , did them myself..not that it was too hard but it did take all day. This might sound stupid to most guys but bleeding the brake line was the hardest part for me

Once you guys get it figured out, and you want more practice, you can fly out here and help me. Just kidding. I also have a SB and would like to see some picks of SB's with apes. I'm trying to find the best set up. I like the feel of the stock bars, just want about 4 inches taller. Keep us posted.
