How about I show my love and appreciation for both You and Just Enough.

Your front wheel picture confirmed to me what I thought I had to do with the bracket, which is machine a reduction in a plate where it mounts onto the fork. The Tokico caliper would bolt right up to the fork if the bottom mounting hole would have lined up. So if you put a plate in there it moves the caliper too far in. Thus having to make a plate that is thick enough so you can end up with the caliper mounted back in the same plane as if it was mounted directly to the fork.
I'm off to the Stealers to look at a Touring rear system so I can better understand what is going on there.
Ahh, I see fewer hood ornaments in my future thanks to the both of you.

The rear brembo really provided a stout anchor for the dyna.

great info !!

No need for thanks. I really enjoy this forum. Lots of open creative minds to learn from and share with.

In the middle of the night, when I had nothing to do but try to get back to sleep, I had a thought. For those of us who have a welder, but not a mill, you could use two plates and weld them together. Take the first plate and cut it out to fit the fork leg and the second plate to fit the caliper. The caliper plate would sit on the outside of the fork plate. After you have sorted out where the caliper needs to be relative to the rotor, you just clamp the plates together and weld them up nicely. If you could find two pieces of wood the same thickness as the plates you could use them to mock up the plates easier. Then you could make it look almost professional.

What size is the torx socket on the pins that hold the pads into the caliper? I have a good set already but it dosn't have this size in it.

It is a metric 12 point if I remember correctly. I don't think it is a torx...

I have a 9/16 mc for the front and will purchase a new mc for rear. If you guys could send any pictures that you can share if some of the set ups that are talked about here that would be great. Here is my email tstone777@sbcglobal.net thanks in advance for any help you can provide .
