I have been told time and again that what I am looking at is impossible. Am I dreaming?
I have absolutely no fabrication skills at all, so I'm wondering if there is anyone I can send my rear brembo caliper to for modification, fitment on my 09 FXDF?
Another question, is the about the rotor... I have read on the forum that the front rotors on dyna's are all 11.8, but I had 11.5 rotors on the front of my FXDF, so I bought some used rotors cheap on e-bay. I didn't purchase a rotor for the back brake. Any ideas about that would be appreciated.

I really want my brakes to both match and work.
If you are going to the Brembo caliper, you are going to need the 11.8 rotor.

you are over thinking it, buy the 11.8 rear & brembo from a bagger, put your bike on the jack remove the rear wheel. then go to page one of this thread and do exactly as JUST ENOUGH described. when you have the wheel off and can see it will all come together and you will see what he is talking about.
for the spacer you will need to have made, you could take both the hangers to a machine shop have them measure the thickness of them then what ever the difference is between the dyna and brembo that is how thick the spacer needs to be. take one of the spacers your bike already has with you to the machine shop so they can see it. the new spacer will go between the brembo and swingarm.
do you have brembos on the front of your bike now? if so do the pads sit slightly higher than the rotors?

Thank you for the advice.
Yes, I have the front calipers, but I also purchased rotors on ebay at the same time too. I have the 11.8 rotors.
What size spacer did you need with the VROD caliper/bracket? I have a touring bracket and preliminary measurements puts the spacer width @ ~0.325".
Also, did you have to modify the slot width or did it align correctly?
To install the Vrod caliper properly I've made two spacers. One 11mm between bearing and caliper and second 12.5mm between caliper and swing arm.
And yes, I've modified the slot. I used small angle grinder and file.

I didn't when I did the front. Seems like I remember that the front only required an upgrade when going from single to dual. I guess your going from a two piston caliper to a four piston caliper but I think the MC you have is probably ok.
