cheap mirrors
Today has been a good day. Got back from walking the pooch this morning, made myself a cuppa tea and drank it while mooching about on e.bay. I've been after a nice plainish pair of oval mirrors to replace the horrible standard ones fitted to the earlier Dyna but the prices of anything half ways decent are horrendous here in the UK.
But, this morning I came across a pair that I'd not seen on there during my previous e.bay travels - no bids on them and they only had 15 mins left to end of auction. These are gen Harley aftermarket upgrapde mirrors with the bar & shield on the back - and exactly what I've been after ....up at £25 and as I say, no bids on them.
I had a quick look around the internet and and they sell for £145 in the main dealers so I put a bid on them, expecting someone to outbid me at the last minute. Nobody did though, so I got them for £25 - brand new and an absolute steal And, the best of it was that they were in our local Harley dealership so I could go pick them up this afternoon and didn't even have to pay the postage. Top result then! They're on the bike now and looking very cool. Also arrived in the post today were the saddlebag supports I ordered on Monday. They were another bargain, I'd just been quoted £110 for a pair, but found these later at a Harley indy dealer for £50. Just need some bags to go with them now.

Pic of the new mirrors attached as requested - not the best photo, and they ain't that exciting but I like 'em. I love this shape of them with the buck bars - the mirrors look kinda neat and stumpy. They're well made as well so don't think I@m going to have any vibe problems
