are you saying you don't want to buy from the dealer
or
don't want the dealer to install??
.
I used HD parts total cost - $ 212
included shipping, fork pipes, springs, bottom pipes, and all seals and o-rings

The Wide Glide fork pipes are about 2 1/4 inches longer

Hey Mud

Where can I find a list of fork tube lengths?
For instance, I noticed Ultima lists their standard length as that of the FXST, do you know how that compares to the 05 WG tubes?
Thanks

I have a pair of 2" over tubes off of my 06 FXDBI. Don't know the overall length, I can measure them tonight after work. They're 49mm. Ex condition.

Looks like Rene has the link for you

according to measurements there,
the 006 and up WG fork pipes are close to 2.5 longer

the 41mm
fork pipe list, I only see WG for 005 - 24.5"
