are you saying you don't want to buy from the dealer
or don't want the dealerto install?? .
I used HD parts total cost - $ 212
included shipping, fork pipes, springs, bottom pipes, and all seals and o-rings
The Wide Glide fork pipes are about 2 1/4 inches longer .

Hey Mud
Where can I find a list of fork tube lengths?
For instance, I noticed Ultima lists their standard length as that of the FXST, do you know how that compares to the 05 WG tubes?
Thanks

. Looks like Rene has the link for you
according to measurements there,
the 006 and up WG fork pipes are close to 2.5 longer
the 41mm fork pipe list, I only see WG for 005 - 24.5" .
