The bike my misses really wants to ride is a fully raked chopper. The FatBob is a little more affordable and realistic.

She likes her bike the way it is. She doesnt want an engine guard, bags, or a fairing. She does like the windshield.

We want to make some longer trips this year and I think she needs more wind protection and we need to be able to carry more stuff. I have talked her into easy brackets so we can add bags for longer trips.

What about a fairing? She isnt giving up the dual headlights. We are going to make a Macon-Keywest trip this year. 6 days on the road roundtrip.

I think she will enjoy it alot more with more wind protection.

How can I fit a fairing with that headlight setup?

I want to use the HD clamps so we can put it on and off as needed. The only time she would use it is for roadtrips.

If she likes the windshield, just stay with that. HD makes a few detachables and I am sure there are after- market options as well. I also have a FBob and can't picture it with a fairing.

Like I say this is for long roadtrips. Thats 2-3 times a year. The other 350 days a windshield is enough.

I didnt want bags or any of that stuff either.
I did an AME kit and my removable windshield still works on it and looks ok too.

Here's a thread about a modified Slipstreamer for a Fat Bob. In case the link doesn't work. OP was Sbaalman. I thought he did an outstanding job.
