Default Forward Controls

I'm looking for some forward controls that would work on my '08 Lowrider. I've got the mid controls right now with highway pegs. Mid controls are not comfortable to me at all. All of the Lowriders I've sat on with forward controls are just to far forward for me. Does anyone know of any forward controls that are not so far forward? I would like my shifter and brake levers to be where my highway pegs are right now. I'm not that tall and if my toes have to go past the end of my frame to shift, that is just too far.

There are not any forwards that are shorter that I know of. I had the Kury forwards and used some brackets to bring the pegs back some. The shifter and brake can be adjusted to bring them back.

I have the brackets for sale in the classifieds.

Pics of them installed

I once asked at the dealership about forwards for my 08 SB. He told me that there was a bracket that moved them back about 2". I can not remember the manufacturer but the Fat Book comes to mind. You might want to check there. By the way I am 5'4" and I felt that the forwards were just a little bit of a reach for me with my Mustang seat and that is what he recommended. I like the mids and hwy pegs on my Low Rider though......

Go to the main page and scroll way down, you should see them there.
Accutronix sells forwards and adapters to move them around a bit, take into account the proximity to your pipes.

I think you have to have 25 or 50 posts before you can view the classifieds.

I have them for $35 plus shipping. Traded my Dyna in this week so took them off before. PM if interested.

Need the forward controls before I worry about the brackets but I'll let you know as soon as I get some. Probably won't be for a while. Still working on changing pipes and handlebars first.

I just bought an '03 Low Rider this week! One of he big reasons I went with the bike is that it already has installed exactly what you are looking for. Mids are cramping, but at 5'7" fowards are often too much of a stretch. My new/used ride fits like a glove. I'll check what the forwards/mods are tonight when I'm standing in the garage scheming about what coolness I can add.

I did find the classifieds. Thank you all so much. Unfortunately I found them a day late since someone sold a set of V & H Short Shots that I would have loved to have had. LOL
