Default experienced advice...

so i have a new toy to install, i'll read the instructions and watch some of the youtube vids on installing the PC. any advice from people that have installed one before? anything to watch out for? thanks... 2010 wg btw...

If you're not adding something like this nothing happens to your O2s. O2s are meant to go into the exhaust so nothing should happen to them that already isn't happening to them.

Now if your Straight Shots are older and don't have O2 bungs or your going with a piggy back system like this that let's you bypass O2s, that's a different story.

so should i just take out the o2 sensors and plug the pipes or just leave them in and bypass them?

I left them in when I was running slip-ons but didnt have them put in on my D&D.

As far as install it is pretty easy. You can remove the battery to help give you some more room to work from the other side.

I think I will probably do that myself on my SGC. St Louis area has emissions. Right now they aren't required on my bike, but if they ever come back and enact some new emission legislation, I don't want the stock O2 sensors trashed from years in the pipes, not being used.

not sure about the fuel moto but the power commander V came with o2 eliminators. if your fuel moto came with o2 eliminators just put plugs in.

it looks like you do have o2 eliminators so you can either put plugs in or still put the o2 sensors back in. either way the module is preprogrammed with the air/fuel ratios.

I left my o2 sensors installed in the pipe and used o2 eliminaters with my pc3.....works fine...
