Default Side plate light

Hey I just made a side bracket to put my liscence plate, here we have a law that wants me to put a white light on it. So I ordered a bolt with a light on it.

I want to know where did you pass the wires so they stay hidden, and where should i plug it ? (I tought of splicing the wire going to my brake light or direcly to the battery ?)

What kind of bike is it? I wouldn't splice. I'm sure there's an alternative.

I think a lot of guys zip tie the wires to the bottom of the swing arm. Thats what I plan on doing. I've got the bike torn apart right now so I plan on using the stock plate light wiring from the harness in the rear fender.

That's what I wanted to do but I can't ditch the rear light. We got a law about having a brake light in the central axe of the vehicule.

I thought the 2010 WG came standard with a side mounted plate? Due to this law did MoCo change for your state? BTW you can buy velcro or other attachments that hide the wire behind the swingarm.

On the 2011 WG (stock side mount plate) it traces back to ACCY 15A in the fuse panel.

Do you have a stock license plate lamp where your plate used to be? If so, I would spice into that for your lighted bolt.
